Lennox Head Public School relocation and new public preschool

The school will start operating at the new site in 2027. To stay up to date with the progress of the project, read the latest updates in our project library.

Construction for our new public preschool has now started. Lennox Head Public Preschool will be located on our new school site and will help to strengthen children’s learning journey across our school community.

We anticipate the preschool will be open in Term 1, 2027 and look forward to informing families when they can start enrolling children. You can keep up to date with the latest information on the School InfrastructureExternal link website and search ‘Lennox Head Public Preschool’.

Public preschools enrol children for one year only, the year before they start school. Children can enrol in public preschools from the beginning of the school year if they turn 4 years of age before 31 July that year.

Kindergarten 2027

We are excited to announce that Kindergarten enrolments for 2027 are now open!

If you have a child starting Kindergarten next year, please complete an online enrolment on our school website under the enrolment tab. We encourage you to complete this as soon as possible.

We will be moving to a brand new school in 2027. The relocated school will include 24 modern classrooms, a school hall with covered outdoor learning area, a library, canteen and outdoor space with play equipment and games court.

A new 40-place public preschool will also be built on the same site to provide expanded access to early childhood education.
