Northern Rivers Girls Cricket Gala Day

The sun shone brightly on Murwillumbah at Les Cave Oval as schools from all over the Northern Rivers participated in the Northern Rivers Girls Cricket Gala Day on Friday the 8th of September. This fun event brought together young girls from all corners of the community, who eagerly played against each other and learnt some fun new skills with some of the Sydney Sixers.

Laughter echoed as the girls bowled, batted, and fielded their way through the day, with each wicket taken and every boundary scored. With hope now that there will be many more young girls excited to play cricket this coming season.
